Manifestazione

October 15th there were manifestations all over italy, the biggest was in Rome, which is where I went with my roomates, what is a manifestation you ask? well it is a political statement where mainly youth, but tons of people of all ages come out and march through the streets expressing their diverse opinons, see for yourself
The metro station to get into town

I stayed away from the violence, but we were not all so lucky

Oktoberfest

 Metro in Germany
Train ride into Germany from Italy, it was too beautiful to sleep
ich lieb dich translates to i love you
these cookie hearts are all over oktoberfest!
 pac man?
This was one of four lions whose nose you touch and make a wish, this was a part of the city not of the festival
Some lovely German music to make the mood
 some traditional food

A governmment building, i think the mayor lives here, anyway this is a taste of german architecture
this is how crowded the metro was, obviously someone was not too thrilled by the lack of space
 fun fun fun
it was like the county fair, just with much more beer
 fortune telling machine
some more important architecture around town

 oktoberfest: as seen by night
carly and max on the swings
this is a typical scene at oktoberfest
dont worry i didnt drink all of it (i dont even like beer)
this guy standing on the table with his arms up chugged 6 liters of beer and was casually drinking inbetween each chug. an oktoberfest champion id say
this is the group, germans and americans both! thanks for a great time
thats all folks
