Palazzo della Ragione

This is a building in the center of town, the piazzas on both sides are popular places to hang out it was build in the 1200s and had a fire in 1420

This huge horse was mad of wood!
These are some frescos on the wall, a fresco is when the artist paints on the plaster while it is still wet so that it lasts longer
this is a full view of the inside, the space is vast and wide, and empty but beautiful. The roof is modeled after a tall ship (sail ship) but upside down

Ay Ay Eye

I got into a fight the other night, the mosquito won, there are a lot of mosquitos in Padova because of the river

Street Festival

Right next to where I am staying there was a street festival. There was a man playing accordion and a woman playing the fiddle, and a bunch of Italians dancing in the streets. All of the songs had certain dances that went with them. I need to learn these dances before this happens again, if it happens again, so I can join in the fun.

My First Kebab

This is quite the popular food item in Italy, it is not Italian though
There is literally a spit of meat rotating in the shop that they take the meat from and put it in this kebab (which is more of a sandwich)

Late night International Snacks

So where I am currently staying there are a lot of international students. So the other night after the day had ended we were hanging out in the kitchen drinking Mate tea. And then it progressed from there.

Here is some bread from Palestine
These are seasoned watermelon seeds also brought from Palestine
And this is Humas! from Israel. It is not sold in Italy and the guy who shared it was surprised I knew what it was

Vintage Festival!

There was no shortage of unique and creepy mannequins

This was parked outside the vintage festival I think it was part of the display because it was not on the street
