Jena

Jena, pronounced yeh-nah, is a lovely university town in East Germany. We had a wonderful quad-lingual host, Ana! She showed us around, took us on a hike and to Weimar another cute near-by town, and so much more. Grazie Mille Ana!

Innsbruck

Another last minute decision to go somewhere, and we arrived the only weekend of a new orleans music festival, great! it rained a bit but while we were outside we seemed to carry the sun with us, the city was beauttful along with the nature around it.

Pisa

So our last minute trip to pisa worked out  pretty well, we just happened to be there the day of the palio di pisa, where the quarters of the city break up and compete in a type of medival tug o war
