Carnevale in Venezia is world famous and this year I got to cross it off of my bucket list. It certainly was not what I expected, but none-the-less I enjoyed it. Here Carnevale is celebrated like Halloween, there are costumes of all types. The festivals last about two weeks and end on Martedi Grasso (fat tuesday).
